Dress Code

At the Fred Tjardes School of Innovation, our dress code is created with your child’s safety in mind. Because students may be working with tools during the day, closed toe shoes are required in the workshop. Please have them wear or pack closed toed shoes daily. In addition, walking field trips and trips to the local park will be regular occurrences. Please have students wear shoes in which they will be comfortable walking up to one mile. Because we have slick and hard floors, “Heelies” will not be allowed at school.

Any clothing item or accessory that causes a disruption to school safety, personal safety and/or the learning environment may result in discretionary intervention by school administrators.
